Presentation of the trek

Having passed through the medieval village of Issigeac on horse-back, we head towards Beaumont, a 13th century English “bastide”, where our packed lunch will be waiting for us. We will finish our day at the “Bouquerie” saloon, where we will spend the night in a unique and interesting bed and breakfast.

The following day, we will visit the historic and beautiful Abbeys of Cadouin and St Avit Seigneur, as well as the Bastide of Molieres. Your overnight accommodation will be in a beautiful building with unusual stone-work at Couze St Front.

We will then leave the valley and the paper mills of Couze to go to the château at Lanquais. After a picnic at Faux, we will return to the stables, passing through picturesque arable fields and orchards… there may even be the possibility of crossing the lake on horse-back, weather permitting!
