Presentation of the trek

Having left the stables, we will soon arrive in the vineyards of Monbazillac, so well-known across the world for the delicious sweet wines produced there. We will stop to taste the wines and learn some of the secrets of how they are produced. We will pass by the famous vine-yards on horse-back, Antoine, your local guide, knows many of the vine-yard owners personally.

The next day, having spent the night bed and breakfast accommodation, we will pass through the vineyards of Bergerac and of Bordeaux: beautiful landscape, an ocean of vines, continuing all the way to Bordeaux time permitting!

We will return across the south of the Bergerac vineyard, towards the famous Bastide of Eymet. Our overnight accommodation will be in a gite belonging to a family of wine-growers and we will have the opportunity to sample a glass or two of the local nectar!

On the fourth day, we return to the stables via beautiful grassy tracks, ideal for these who enjoy galloping! The landscape is interesting and varied a mixture of vine-yards, forests, orchards, and arable crops.
